Wadi Jeddah, the investment arm of King Abdulaziz University, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Captains of Innovation, the innovation advisory arm of the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The agreement is part of Wadi Jeddah’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030.
The partnership aims to support the planning and operation of the Wadi Jeddah Innovation Center, offering strategic and operational guidance based on global best practices. It also focuses on capacity building, knowledge transfer, and integrating the center into CIC’s global innovation ecosystem.
CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center) is one of the world’s leading platforms for supporting innovation, providing incubation services to startups and connecting them with international investment and knowledge networks. This collaboration is expected to open new horizons for Wadi Jeddah in developing a national model for knowledge- and technology-driven innovation.
The CEO of Wadi Jeddah emphasized that this partnership marks a significant step toward transforming the Wadi Jeddah Innovation Center into a regional hub for entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.
